Your first visit will be a full dental health assessment including a screening of your teeth, gums and oral health. We also want to get to know you and have a long term plan for your dental care.
We shall ask you to complete a medical and dental history questionnaire which will include information to assist us with diagnosis and treatment planning; it will also include information on your expectations and requirements.
We are very happy to accept patients who are concerned or nervous about dental treatment at our practice and we would expect to alleviate any anxiety that you may have at an early opportunity.
We have various techniques available for the assistance of nervous patients that are tailored to the individual and can be discussed and explained at the initial consultation.
An individually tailored treatment plan will be discussed and usually presented as a written quotation, although simpler treatments may be quoted for verbally.

The “Starting Well” programme
NHS England has recently launched it’s “Starting Well” programme to promote preventative dentistry in young children.
The aim is to improve oral health in children under the age of two years, allowing them to start looking after their teeth at an early age. We also help to desensitize the child to the dental practice to reduce anxiety and phobia.
If you would like to find out more then please contact the practice.
(Free goodie bags available for all the kiddies too)
